Who are the Wild Rice Peacemakers? We are a CMSA affiliated cowboy mounted shooting
club established in 2007 with members from
Northern Minnesota and Eastern North Dakota. We
derived our club name from the Wild Rice River
which runs through the Twin Valley, MN, Riders
Club Arena property where we hold many of our
events. We also host shoots in other locations
as well as host clinics and demonstrations at
area equine events. For more information about
our club or membership please contact one of our
officers or directors.
What is CMSA? Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association® is the
Fastest Growing Equestrian Sport in the Nation.
Mounted contestants compete in this fast action
timed event using two .45 caliber single action
revolvers each loaded with five rounds of
specially prepared blank ammunition. The Cowboy
Mounted Shooting Association "C.M.S.A." has a
variety of levels of competition for everyone,
ranging from novice levels to the seasoned
professional.
